A Day Without News? is an initiative to focus attention on, and take steps to address, the targeting of journalists in armed conflict. http://adaywithoutnews.com/
As part of the launch for A Day Without News? – Lynsey Addario Photography speaks to BBC News about being kidnapped not once, but twice.
In the short interview Addarion says ‘the word embedded isnt so relevant’. I would reply Seriously! When you embedded you effectively chooses sides? And become a mouth piece for that side. And in conflict it would natural for the other side or sides to target you as the reporting you will be doing cant help but be biased.
