I’ve been inspired! – Shahidul Alam

Went to a talk at the National Geographic [in London] a few nights ago and have come across an amazing man, Shahidul Alam

I’m trying to get hold of the video of the talk where he spoke of his work as an educator and developer of photojournalism. Alam is one of the co founders of Majority World a photographic agency which advocates responsible souring of imagery. Alam spoke of the future of photojournalism with great emphases on what I believe to be a sustainable means to engage an audience and to effectively balance pragmatism with idealism. If you can I highly recommend you hear him talk. In the mean time here he is talking on BBC radio – http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/console/p00kg6ls

Thanks for the tip. Just to say looks like the link to the Majority World website isn’t working.
